  •   She Taught Me How To Eat Artichokes 

Life is about relationships.  We’re all interdependent in relationships to self, with one another and collectively.  When ever we come home to the center of who we are, things begin to work effortlessly.  In this workshop, we will explore these relationships in a fun and helpful way.

  •   "Created In The Image Of Today's World": The Church's Teaching On Social Justice.

This day of reflection will focus on the powerful messages of Scripture, starting with Genesis, that clearly shows God's love for all humanity and the need to be caring and mindful of all people.  The Church has drawn on Scripture and other sources  in formulating  its social teaching as well.

If you are wondering whether you are being called to Mother of God Monastery, a monastic experience of living with the sisters, sharing their prayer, work and leisure may be very helpful.  The monastic experience can provide you with an opportunity to learn about St. Benedict, the community prayer, and the rhythm of monastic life in a Benedictine monastery.  You will be able to visit with sisters and hear their stories and see first hand how the sisters live. "Come and rest awhile in God's love..."

  •  Days of Prayer

Come for a day of quiet and personal prayer.  If you wish to meet with a spiritual guide, arrangements can be made.

  •  Directed Retreats

Extended time of quiet, prayer and reflection.  Retreatants meet daily with a spiritual guide, according to individual arrangements to pray and reflect on their spiritual journey.

  •  Private Retreat

Extended time for those who wish for time alone to pray and reflect without a spiritual director.

  •  Spiritual Direction or Guidance

Several staff are trained in spiritual direction, for those who wish to meet individually, to reflect on their spiritual journey.
