Who is an Oblate of St.
Benedict?

- Lay women and men, Catholic or
other Christian denominations, who seek to enrich their
Christian way of life and seek God through association
with our Benedictine community.
- Persons who continue to live
in their own homes and remain involved in their usual
activities to which they bring the added dimension of
Benedictine values.

become an Oblate of St. Benedict?
- To receive spiritual strength
and inspiration from the Rule of Benedict and
Benedictine life.

- To share in the prayer and
works of our community.
- To find encouragement to be
faithful witnesses of Christ and the Gospel in their own
environment.

How can you become an Oblate of Mother
of God Monastery?
- Seek information by contacting
the director of the oblates.
- Enroll as an oblate candidate
to learn how it can apply to your life.

- After approximately a year,
make oblation, an act which makes you an oblate of
Mother of God Monastery.
