SISTER DEL REY KUHN

I am Sister Del Rey Kuhn.  The example of two beautiful Sisters inspired me to become a Benedictine and later to follow the call to be a founding member of Mother of God Monastery.

Over the years I taught elementary school trying to form young minds and hearts.  I did pastoral care in a hospital where I was privileged to see God at work in the lives of those who came.  I was a hospice worker allowed to walk with those who were preparing to meet their God (my very favorite ministry.)  And I lived in a home for battered women where I encountered the suffering Jesus.  In each of these works I experienced many intimate moments.  I feel very blessed.

At present my life is more relaxed.  Among my interests and occupations is a felt need to respond to political activities which endanger or undermine our freedoms or deprive the underprivileged of a fair chance to live a full life.
